Preventing Skin Dryness

With age, the skin renewal process slows and dead skin cells remain on the surface for a longer time. In addition, the skin layer becomes thinner and loses some elasticity. This results in drier skin that looks duller, has more wrinkles, is more scaly and feels rougher. It also tends to heal more slowly. To prevent and treat minor skin irritations (such as rashes, itching, bed sores) it can be helpful to combine the analgesic Calmoseptine with Vitamins A&D Ointment, a moisturizer. (Both are over-the-counter products.) Take a look at our video to learn about caring for minor skin irritations.
